Product Designer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively support an end to end design processes such as problem scoping, defining challenges, concept exploration, prototyping, testing, iteration
• Explore and incorporate primary & secondary user data in order to inform the design
• Articulate use cases in which the users will use the specific features that we are designing
• Perform supporting role in creating user flows, information architecture, wireframes that can inform stakeholders about design approach/concepts and their implications
• Perform supporting role in creating User Interface Design with good quality of usability, visual language, contrast, delightful interactions, and illustrations
• Support designer & researcher in research processes such as research planning, recruiting respondents, note-taking, conducting interviews, and synthesizing
• Give support in facilitating workshops with stakeholders (design, product, business, tech) to translate insights into concepts & design decisions 

Requirements

• Have a basic understanding of human-centered Design
• Good critical thinking & systems thinking skill
• Good communication & storytelling skills
• Deep curiosity in uncovering problems & exploring potential solutions for a variety of people
• Evidence of exposure to do end to end product design process
• Able to showcase project portfolio/case study
• Exposure to design research is highly valued. Especially concept testing & usability testing
• Have proficiency in using design tools such as Figma & miro
• Any experience level is welcome! (college student, fresh grad, mid-career switch, etc)
• Design related degree is preferred, but any background are welcome to apply
